Time flies...and on a serious note...

This past weekend we celebrated my girls 2nd and 4th birthdays...I just can't believe how fast time goes. I remember snuggling them in my arms when they were days old and now they can barely fit in my arms.
But instead of reminiscing, which I could do all day, I'm thinking about looking foward to the future, a future that I want to know is going to be bright and full of promise for them. Now thankfully, I know that as long as they are trusting in the Lord and relying on Him, they will have the best lives possible. I'd also like to know though that there are going to be opportunities for them and that they are not going to have to be "footing" the bill from my generation's sense of entitlement and lack of caring what is happening in our country and world.
So, on that note, as I've spoke of before...do your research and come November, VOTE! Know what is happening in our country, Know what Obamacare means to you and how it's going to impact you (because it doesn't just have to do with health care, there are homeschooling laws in there too, SERIOUSLY), Know that you need to have your ID to vote (which seems like common sense to me).
Please think about how this is going to affect you and the ones you care about for years and years to come, because it will.
To end on a happy note though...here's a picture of my birthday girls...
